When I first came to Sarasota, Florida back in 1980 with a 1966 International School bus looking for work at one of the many theaters in town, I parked the bus in the Ringling Museum parking lot until I secured a job at the Golden Apple Dinner Theater. I parked my bus behind the theater while I lived at the museum for a week. I would walk around the museum grounds and ended up in the sculpture garden. It was a great place to draw...statues don't move.
